Our key community achievements this past year include:
helping 9 single mothers by providing backpacks, school supplies, diapers and various toiletry items.
offering school supplies to needy students in 11 schools (elementary and high school). We are grateful for the valuable assistance of our partner, Staples.
donating $5,500 to 5 food banks.
providing $7,500 in scholarships to help graduating students finance post-secondary education.
Today, 18 months later, COVID is still with us, and families continue to struggle. Many groups such as food banks, women’s shelters, after school programs and day cares need help. Many of our Club’s regular fundraising events were cancelled during COVID-19, resulting in a decrease in revenue to support core community programs.
We have created a COVID Recovery Fund with a target goal of $10,000 to allow us to continue to support our community. We are asking you to consider making a tax-deductible donation to our Foundation’s COVID-19 Recovery Fund. Our Foundation is a registered charity (CRA #119240828 RR0001).
